Analysis of the Interaction Damage Mechanism and Treatment Measures for an Underpass Landslide Tunnel: A Case from Southwest China

Previous studies have analyzed the damage of tunnels and slopes as a single entity, ignoring interaction effect between slopes, which will an impact on accuracy mechanism safety treatment measures. In this paper, three types simulation models are established—the natural state, after tunnel excavation, reinforcement measures—considering case study underpass landslide in southwest China. Based theory strength reduction method, is revealed, reasonable plan proposed. The analysis results show following: there obvious collapse slope instability; large number mudstones common surrounding rock rheological properties, amplify influence through landslide; proposed comprehensive measures “rescue inside cave + treatment” strong pertinence effectiveness, they fundamentally address instability tunnel.
